Travels in Retrospect: My South Korea Trip
Whenever i look back at the years that passed by, 2014 will never be erased in my entire existence. You might ask, why? It's been 2 years since that year passed, why continue to reminisce the events that happened last 2014?
If you're smart enough to know the reason why you have to look back at the things that happened years ago, then there's no need to explain it furthermore. Heck, we study History in class, we kept learning about stuff that had to occur even dating back to when we ain't born yet.
So, 2014. I don't really remember lots of stuff that happened during that year, but there were some that i can recall, one of which is when me and my ex-best friend fought a lot over nonsensical stuff, and the rest is history. Gah, i really can't remember, but the most memorable part of that year happened in November. It's when my dream of travelling to Korea finally came true.
I wasn't informed at first, that we were gonna spend our vacation in South Korea that time, my parents didn't tell me a single word. I only knew we were going to Korea because I saw my mom writing on pieces of paper and it's already 11pm that time.
I had to come closer because she asked me about my personal details. That's when i had to ask her: "Are we going to Korea, mom?" *Because i noticed the Korean characters in print, and it also said there "Application for Visa", so i had to ask her to be sure*
"Don't ask too many questions, your dad wanted you to go to Korea because we know that you love Korean culture, and besides, this will be our gift to you for your 18th birthday next year." my mom told me. THOSE WORDS, I WILL NEVER FORGET. BECAUSE AFTER HEARING HER TELLING ME THAT, I JUMPED FOR LIKE, 20 TIMES BECAUSE I WAS SO HAPPY THAT FINALLY MY DREAMS ARE BECOMING SO REAL I JUST HAD TO BELIEVE IT.
Anyway, days went by. I kept thinking of what to bring in Korea, i made a short list of the stuff that i'll pack for me to be more ready. Travel essentials, check.
Heck, i even had to take a photo of my travel essentials 2 nights before our flight to Korea.

Ye. So that was the exact photo i took 2 years ago in preparation for my Korea trip. I just can't contain my excitement anymore, hours kept passing by, and i'm crazy with the thought that i'll finally visit the love of my life back then, the country i fell in love with. And so it happened.
2AM, Monday, November 3rd, 2014.
It's D-Day. Our flight to Korea was at 7am that time. Normally, i would feel so lazy getting up of bed and preparing for our trip but this time, i wasn't. I got up of bed, and immediately went to the bathroom to take a shower. Looked into my wardrobe and found a good clothing to wear (because i know, that it'll be cold in Korea when I arrive); basically, i thought hard of what to wear as an airport fashion, and as the outfit of the day that time.

I was extremely happy when the plane landed at Incheon International Airport. The flight itself was so long, (because the time period was around 4 hours) i did nothing but take photos, look outside the window, drew a Korean flag on my left hand, ate food and slept.
